Abstract

In modern times, it has become essential for organizations to brace themselves for unexpected events as the effects of these occurrences on organizations and the stress they generate are evident. Events like the September 11 attacks in 2001 and the worldwide spread of the Covid-19 pandemic remind organizations that unimaginable situations can and do occur. Resilience and effective leadership could potentially mitigate the stress and uncertainty and lead towards corporate entrepreneurship.  To ensure objectivity in the research, as advised by specialists, this study employs a positivist research paradigm. Positivism's ontological and epistemological perspectives assert that a singular reality exists and that there is a defined relationship between the researcher and the research itself. In the context of a positivist approach, probability sampling is a commonly employed technique. This article utilizes stratified sampling. Respondents with at least five years of experience were selected for this study and the collection of information was done by means of a close-ended questionnaire. The sample size of 377 respondents was computed using Rao-soft software. In addition, Smart PLS-3 software was used for SEM to test both the measurement models and the structural equation modeling

This study contributes significantly towards understanding the relationship between resilient leadership and corporate entrepreneurship. The components associated with resilient leadership include adaptability, emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills. The existing research on resilience underscores its enduring significance, as its fundamental idea is to maintain an organization's unity and integrity amidst the challenges and disruptions brought on by adversity. The implications of this research are applicable to leaders at various levels including managers and organizational leaders where innovation has a significant role. Organizations should focus on developing leaders that specifically possess the characteristics of high emotional intelligence and adaptability by emphasizing upon various forms of leadership development initiatives and training programs.
